"Robben laments what could have been"
It finished 2-0. Scenes of jubilation erupted from the blue half of the Estadio Bernabeu & in Milan. Mourinho leads Inter Milan to their 3rd European title in stunning fashion.
It was a brilliant match-up between German efficiency & Italian tactics. Tactics proved to be the winning formulae that night.
& as Inter celebrate, Bayern are left to wonder what could have been their night. Having been under-dogs every step of the way, they proved stubborn & marched on all the way to the finals. But this season's top goal-scoring team & the "Comeback Kings" couldn't find the strength for 1 last time.
Bayern fans might lament how Ribery would have made the difference. We can only speculate. Bayern fans may lament how things would have been different if Muller had scored in the 46th min. We can only guess.
But the final showed Bayern's weakness in defence & a lack of a potent striker. & with Jorg-Butt hitting the late 30s, there is need for a more youthful alternative.

"Arghh I'm super-aging!!!"
Been absolutely busy this past 2 weeks. Back to back units are no joke really. Tired beyond all comprehension.
Stage a 2 min walk-off during soccer. Got irritated really. Came back & kept losing. Least I got my outfield time. & next monday's going to be the day I re-learn how to kick the damn soccer ball.
& Bayern have conquered the Bundesliga for the 22nd time in German history. Hoping for more joy in the next 2 weeks. & Jorg-Butt got named in the World Cup 2010 squad, which is an interesting choice.
By the way, I'm totally infatuated with the "Adam couple". Especially Gain-noona.
Hais..such is life isn't it?
& I wished I had a TMD. A mother-of-all-weapons in the palm of my hand. Could age things or rejuvenate them. Even temporarily reviving the dead (nothing unholy or demonic really, just reanimating dead cells like Resident Evil's T Virus)
